Xyzzy – A Pronounceable Password Generator.

Xyzzy is a pronounceable password generator. It’s for sys admins who find themselves resettings passwords for user accounts on a regular basis. The passwords generated are random (no personal association with the user) and pronounceable (hopefully eliminating the need for them to be written down and possibly found).

Xyzzy was written by Phil Hilton, but is distributed by Haxial Software. More information as well as download links for Windows and Mac OS version can be found on the official Xyzzy web page.

UPDATE: Haxial Software is no longer in business. You can still find the Windows version of Xyzzy at freewarefiles.com, however. EDIT: Looks like that is no longer the case. We’ll update this page if we can find another source hosting the files.
